Cyvarwydd. The online home of author Dayle A. Dermatis / Sophie Mouette / Andrea Dale / Andrea Loewen / Sarah Dale. kuh-VAR-ooith. Welsh, meaning storyteller. (Modern spelling: cyfarwydd)

“She has so many aliases, you’d think she was a spy!”

Dayle A. Dermatis

Dayle A. Dermatis writes romance, erotica, fantasy and science fiction, and occasionally mystery and media tie-in. (Because she needs more genres like she needs more pseudonyms.) Her short fantasy has been called “funny (and rather ingenious),” “something new and something fresh,” and “really, really good!” Under various pseudonyms, she’s sold several novels and more than 100 short stories, including collaborations with Teresa Noelle Roberts (as Sophie Mouette) and Sarah J. Husch (as Sarah Dale).

Dayle grew up in the Adirondacks of upstate NY, but somehow ended up on the opposite end of the country, living in central, northern, and southern California before embarking on a 4-year sojourn in Wales, UK (where she eloped properly in Gretna Green, Scotland). Currently she’s back in southern California, although she continues to travel frequently within the U.S. and abroad (37 countries to date), often via motorcycle.

She lives within scent of the ocean with her beloved, Ken, and two cats from Wales, one with three legs and one with extra toes. When not writing, she can be found doing historic re-creation with the Society of Creative Anachronism (with interests in costuming, weaving, and herbal concoctions), following her favorite band, Styx (the number of shows she’s seen roughly coincides with the number of short stories she’s sold—spooky!), or renovating their 1911 Craftsman-style bungalow.

Andrea Dale

Called a “legendary erotica heavy-hitter” (by the über-legendary Violet Blue), Andrea Dale writes sizzling erotica with a generous dash of romance. Her work has appeared in the LAMBDA-award-winning anthology Lesbian Cowboys: Erotic Adventures and Romantic Times 4.5-star anthology Fairy Tale Lust, as well as about 100 other anthologies from Harlequin Spice, Avon Red, and Cleis Press. She finds passion in rock music, clever words, piercing blue eyes, the wind in her hair, and the scent of the ocean.

Andrea Loewen

Andrea Loewen eloped properly in Gretna Green, rode off on the back of a motorcycle, and hasn’t looked back since except to smile and sigh happily. Unsurprisingly, she writes romances that are sometimes sweet, sometimes spicy, sometimes spooky, and sometimes funny, but will always make you smile and sigh happily. An unabashed romantic, she lives in a historic house near the ocean, and whenever she can, she travels the world for inspiration and loses herself in music.
